O’Brien’S Ireland

New Zealand 2009 ….  Landed in Auckland~ Luggage lost in transit ,had an encounter with Emigration Officer  at the Airport (like the programme of TV “nothing to declare“!!!!! hired a car and headed straight into hotel, I had booked with “Trailfinders” to rest up to get ready for 3 weeks of travel ,Spent a few days in the surrounding area of Auckland and headed to Rotorua~Gisborne~Napier to car Ferry Port at Wellington  just in time to catch the Ferry to South Island, Stayed in Picton that night, onward to Nelson and Visited  Founders Heritage Park very well maintained, took in Westport, Greymouth “Shantytown“, gave  a few hints to Girl taking 19th photos, and then I was in Franz Joseph ,Mount Cook national park .eventually getting to Queenstown, took a plane ride over the glaciers at Milford Sound, and final leg of journey headed to Christchurch for remainder of trip
